Cooking Instructions: For food quality, follow these heating instructions. Cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer. Since cooking appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only. Microwave cooking times vary based on wattage. Do not refreeze after thawing. Microwave: 1. In a microwave-safe bowl, add 2 tablespoons water to entire package of brussels sprouts. 2. Microwave covered on high for 5-7 minutes, stirring once. Stove Top: 1. Fill a large saucepan with approximately 1/2 inch of water and bring to a boil. 2. Remove vegetables from pouch and place into pan and bring to a second boil. 3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 4-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are thoroughly cooked. Do not overcook. Drain and season to taste. Roasting: 1. Open pouch, thaw, drain and empty vegetables into a bowl. 2. Toss the vegetables with enough oil to lightly coat them and add the herbs and seasonings of your choice. 3. Spread single layer on baking sheet and roast 400 degrees F for 20-30 minutes or until tender. Caution: Product will be hot. Perishable. Keep frozen. Cook thoroughly.
