Cooking Instructions: Food safety, keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not refreeze. Heat to 165 degrees F before use. Refrigerate leftovers. Stove Top: In a saucepan, place frozen collard greens ton 3 cups boiling water. Gently stir until water returns to a boil. Reduced heat; cover and simmer 25 to 30 minutes or until tender. Season to taste and serve. Microwave: Directions were developed for 1100 watt and higher microwave ovens. Cooking in microwave ovens below 1100 watts will require additional time to reach proper temperature. For best results cook from frozen. Place 2 cups (2 servings) frozen collard in a covered microwave safe dish. Add 1 cup water. Microwave on high 9 to 10 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. Season to taste and serve. Since cooking appliances vary, these directions are guidelines only. Perishable. Keep frozen. Cook thoroughly.
