Directions

Everything You'll Need: For Brownie Batter: 1/3 cup vegetable oil; 2 tablespoons water; 1 egg. For Cookie Dough: 3 tablespoon butter, margarine or spread*, softened; 2 tablespoons water. 1. Heat: Heat oven to 325 degrees F for nonstick or aluminum pan or 350 degrees F for glass pan. Grease bottom of pan. 2. Stir: Stir Brownie Mix, oil, 2 tablespoons water and egg in medium bowl until well blended. Spread evenly in pan. Stir Cookie Mix, softened butter and 2 tablespoons water in another medium bowl until dough forms (dough will be stiff). Drop cookie dough by 9 rounded tablespoonfuls onto brownie batter in 3 rows of 3. 3. Bake: Bake as directed below or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean; cool completely. Store tightly covered. Nonstick: Oven Temperature: 325 degrees F; 8 inches x 8 inches or 9 inches x 9 inches Pan: 34 to 39 minutes. Glass: Oven Temperature: 350 degrees F; 8 inches x 8 inches or 9 inches x 9 inches Pan: 37 to 42 minutes. Aluminum: Oven Temperature: 325 degrees F; 8 inches x 8 inches or 9 inches x 9 inches Pan: 37 to 42 minutes. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Baked 40-42-minutes. * Spread should have at least 60% vegetable oil. Do not eat raw bar butter.
