Cooking Instruction: In a large bowl, combine contents of 2 bags (3.17 oz) with 1/4 cup of water (60 ml). Let rest for 5-10 minutes. Shape into 1-inch balls. Makes about 9 falafel balls. Tip: While shaping the balls, in case they stick, grease your hands with oil. Immediately cook dough once prepared. Dough must not be stored. Heat 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a saucepan. Add falafel balls and fry until golden brown, for 3 minutes. Remove; drain on a paper towel. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly coat a baking sheet with vegetable oil. Place the falafel balls on the tray, spray their tops with oil and bake first side for 15 minutes. Flip the balls to other side and continue baking for additional 7 minutes. Many ways to enjoy. Serve falafel in a warm soft pocket pita bread, with crunchy diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions, and drizzle with tahini sauce. Make a refreshing vegan falafel buddha bowl with hot falafel, rice, spinach, cooked chickpeas and tahini. Store product in a cool dry place.
