Stove Top Cooking Instructions: 2 Servings (about 3/4 cup cooked rice): 1/2 cup rice (dry); 1 cup water or broth (If rice is too firm at the end of cooking, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer); 1-1/2 tsp. butter or oil (Optional). 4 - 5 Servings (about ¾ cup cooked rice): 1 cup rice (dry); 1-1/2 cup water or broth (If rice is too firm at the end of cooking, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer); 1 tbsp. butter or oil (Optional). 8 - 9 Servings (about 3/4 cup cooked rice): 2 cups rice (dry); 3 cups water or broth (If rice is too firm at the end of cooking, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer); 2 tbsp. butter or oil (Optional). 1. Combine rice, liquid, and butter oil in a pot, and bring to a boil. 2. Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer, and cook for 15 minutes. 3.
