Microwave Directions: For full package: place contents of package and 2 tablespoons water in 2-quart size microwaveable dish. Cover and cook 6-8 minutes at high power. Stir once halfway through the cooking cycle. Drain excess liquid, season to taste and serve. If softer texture is desired, increase cooking time slightly. For 1/2 package: follow cooking directions for full package except add only 11 tablespoon water and reduce cooking time 1-2 minutes. Use 1-quart size microwaveable dish. Stove Top Cooking Directions: Place 3/4 cup water and contents of package in sauce pan. Cover and bring to a full boil. Reduce heat and simmer 3-5 minutes or until tender. Drain; season to taste. For food safety and quality, follow cooking directions and heat to a temperature of 165 degrees F. Refrigerate leftovers promptly. Note: Cooking time may vary depending on model of microwave oven. Keep frozen until ready to use. Cut to open.
