TEXMATI BROWN RICE
Directions
Bring 2¼ cups water to a boil. Add ½ teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon butter or olive oil, if desired. Stir in 1 cup of rice. Cover with lid; reduce heat to low and simmer 45 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand (covered) 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
